Review summary

This has been by far the worst cruise I have ever taken and have never been treated the way we were from staff ever! Please see comments below on everything that went wrong with this cruise. 1. Cabin had flooded shower entire trip and no one ever came to fix it after multiple complaints. 2. All main dining room restaurants had the same menu every single day with lousy and cold food. 3. Staff was very rude and did not care to address any of my concerns or complaints. 4. Stuck at sea until 7th day, due to ports suddenly closing their terminals. 5. Not enough activities and was in cabin majority of our trip. 6. My husband and me ended up getting seasick for how long we were stuck at sea and in our cabins. 7. Could not get into any specialty restaurants throughout entire trip, tried making reservations from first day and could not get accommodated at all for the entire 7 days. 8. Tenders took too long

Design was pretty, but cleanliness was very poor. Bathrooms were always dirty and empty drinks were always laid out everywhere on ship and took a very long time for it to be cleaned.

Charlou, new one on me too; our status tier on NCL gives us priority tendering but worth knowing we sometimes sail with friends without the same tier...

Thanks @USMale for the info. I didn’t know you could make reservations for your tender on the interactive screens. I won’t have to wait in line this time. Thanks.

LWLILLIE: You do not receive a tender ticket first day. You can reserve a tender immediately as you board. Go to one of the touch screen interactive consoles next to every elevator bank and choose the tender option. Insert your key card and select which tender you want. Use that same console to make or change restaurant or entertainment reservations or see current menus and immediate seating availability at every restaurant.

Last January I was on the Epic and I picked up my tender ticket on boarding day at the headliners. That’s where you make reservations on boarding day on the Epic. I guess it’s the same on other NCL ships. Love to share good info that can help others.

Im quite aware of the menus and that they change daily. The lunch ones are the same day to day, but dinner changes except for the stand by items that are the same every dinner menu. But all other items change. This poster sounds like a BSer.

You being sea sick is not the ships fault. It’s the weather, the winds. They do their best but sometimes, unfortunately rough sea happens. Next time, go down to the medical clinic. They give meds for free. RESEARCH. If you would’ve done a minimum of research prior to cruise, you would’ve found out that you need to make reservations for shows and restaurants as soon as you can because it fills up fast. You would’ve also found out that you can pick up your tender ticket on boarding day. You would’ve not have to wait 3 hours to tender. When booking a cruise, there’s always a minimum of research required. You didn’t like the service, the food, the entertainment, so, I think cruising is not for you.

Clferr, they’re not... the 3 main dining rooms serve the same menu (6 starters, 10 mains & 6 desserts to pick from that change daily), the other 10 or so restaurants are all ala carte... the review is baloney, or reflects extremely difficult people..

You always book speciality dinning bef ore the cruise but if not they can get you in might not be a time you like but they do their best.

You have an option to get 3 nights of specialty dining included in your fare when you book. You should try this option next time. The food was good everywhere we ate but the specialty dining is outstanding. I find it hard to beleive you were stuck on the ship for 7 days, but i rather be at sea and completely relaxed than worried about the craziness at the ports. Sorry to hear about the cabin problem. The staff will smile and be polite if you treat them that way as well. I didnt run across anyone who was rude by any means. I love this ship and have seen very few bad reviews like this. You should give it another shot sometime and do the specialty dining, spa and try a different show perhaps.

Cruising isn't for everybody, fly somewhere and stay in a hotel and see if you like that better. Cruised 20 times with NCL, very pleased, even worst cruise (which wasn't that bad) was better than work!

How were you stick at sea for 7 days if the tenders were long??? You only tender if you're getting off at a small island.
