We had a great time however don’t plan to cruise with Norwegian again. The level of service did not measure up to what we experienced with other lines. Also additional costs for everything was not what we were expecting. We didn’t really like the freestyle dining, which was the only thing offered in regular dining rooms. Service was rushed and impersonal.

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Service in main dining rooms was poor. Often never saw waiter again after meal was ordered. They never came back to make sure the meal was to our liking, offer additional bread or ask if we wanted another drink. The food was decent but often cold. Service in specialty restaurant was terrific. It’s obvious where Norwegian is putting their best staff.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
Water slides were fun & lines not bad for such a big ship. Ropes course was great except half of it was closed.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
Shows & performances were very good however we had to make reservations. Some shows were done multiple nights so some nights there was no show. Other alternatives had a price attached. Royal Caribbean & Celebrity lines offer a different show every night with no fees or reservations required.
Children's Programs
My kids are teenagers and chose not to participate.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Overall service was good but fairly impersonal. I felt there was not enough staff for number of guests onboard. Staff seemed rushed and overworked at times. On other ships waiters & stewards made attempt to introduce themselves, remember your name & greet you personally. There was none of that on Norwegian.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was beautiful & very clean. There were few quiet places to read a book though. Very loud, party atmosphere pretty much everywhere.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was great, good layout and lots of storage.
Ship tip
Be prepared to spend more money. There is a fee for so many things, more than we ever experienced on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity.
