Review summary

Overall we had a great time. We were really disappointed at not getting to visit Jamaica, but understand that in bad weather safety comes first. It was cloudy and raining for the first 2-3 days, but there was plenty to do aboard the ship to keep us entertained. The sun came out for the remainder of the cruise and it was smooth sailing the rest of the way!

Bad weather kept us from visiting Jamaica, which was disappointing.

George Town, Grand Cayman

We were anchored offshore and tendered into a dock about 3-5 miles outside of the downtown area, so there was nothing to do within walking distance. We ended up taking a taxi into the city and walking about 4-5 miles to seven mile beach. It was fun to explore, but it would have been better to get tendered right into the downtown area where there was a lot to see.

Cozumel, Mexico

Cozumel was great. We docked and were able to walk right off the ship, and there was plenty to do within walking distance.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

GSC was fun because it was the only beautiful sunny beach day we had without having to take a taxi to get there. The tenders to the island are pretty efficient, and it was nice to have a relaxing day at the beach.
