If you are nervous about a cruise, don't be! It is the best you will ever experience. 7 days is a good time, and I wish I was back again. It can be pricey, but once you get on board, you understand why you spend that much, and every penny counts! Norwegian Escape is the BEST.

It was quick, we got there early, and getting our cards was easy as well. Norwegian cruise, knows how to function!

Food and Dining

The free cafeteria was like a 5 star restaurant! :P I really enjoyed the food, and the service was excellent. People were working really hard all day long, and I appreciate that! Our server at the bar - Marian was AMAZING. She really cares, and will not forget you!
Teppanyaki

The chef was AMAZING. And very entertaining! The best part that i loved was the fried rice! I had it a million times, but never the way he made it! I would only go back to Teppanyaki again on this Norwegian Cruise, not on land! :D Thank you!!!
Onboard Activities

We did the pool, the big chess board game in the back, and the mini golf. it was really nice and relaxing! We tried the rope course bit it was either closed, or we did not have the proper clothing. So maybe next time! We also did the slides, which was really fun and I'm glad the water was warm :P

The pool was were we hung out the most! It was an amazing experience knowing we can be on the top deck in a pool, out at sea! Got a nice sun tan! We only did 1 stage show the Rat pack. IT was good, I loved their singing. The story behind it was a bit cheesy but it was ok :P
Children's Programs
We do not have children :-)

They bust their butts for this! I don't know how I would last non-stop for 6-8months at a time. These people have big hearts, and seriously do an amazing job!
Ship Quality

I am from Slovakia and I have the European style in home. When getting on the ship, it shocked me to see that it was the same style! That made me feel at home, and I had a lot of comfort. Cleanliness is very important too me, and I saw that the crew really worked hard for this.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very very very nice room! We gambled and won this room for much cheaper! The cleaning guy was VERY nice, and did help us a lot with information on the ship. The balcony was amazing, as well as the bathroom - showers were the best! (only a small leakage at the bottom of the shower door, the plastic comes off). Also the bed was not as comfortable. It was 2 mattresses stuck together, I ended up sleeping in the crack of the bed and in the morning my back hurt. But overall very nice room. I would always go for a balcony!
Ship tip
I would probably say, to play a bigger range of songs by the pool area. They only did good ones during the contests, but when nobody was on stage they played the same 6 songs in a row. Other than that it was excellent!
It was a good port. Very busy, but a lot of transportation. We just took an Uber from Ft. Lauderdale airport. I would not hang out outside the port, or in Miami too much. Did not feel too safe in that city. But the port was much better :-)
I was expecting Jamaica to be a little more nicer. I am glad I can say I have been there. But it is like with any other island, you have the nice tourist area, and then after that is the true county. it was a good experience seeing both sides. They were saying that their blue beach was the best, but Caymans was by far nicest.
Best island by far! Beautiful water, and cheap taxi to get to the blue beach. The only draw back was that the chairs and umbrellas were a bit expensive; especially the bar. But I would rather spend this money for a day at this beautiful beach!
It was very nice with the free pool! The taco was the best! And the souvenirs, I couldn't decide what to buy! :P The only thing holding me back about Costa Maya, was that we did not really have a chance to explore further than the tourist place. Although that location was surrounded by a lot of trees.
we got to Miami pretty fast, and I was lucky enough to take an amazing picture of the port at the night with the lights of the bridge! We did not rush off the ship, but we got off pretty fast again, no lines really. :-) I will be back!
