Teppanyaki on Norwegian Escape

I won’t be dining here again. The chefs were obnoxiously loud with their utensils, literally SLAMMING them against the metal to create a beat to their songs. I love a good time! But this was obnoxious. The food was not what we had expected. We have dined at many Japanese steakhouses. This did not have the typical soup and salad you receive there. I couldn’t even eat this one. It was probably just a more traditional Japanese dish than I was used to but nonetheless, blech. I asked for hot tea and the woman was really confused and said they didn’t have it in the restaurant they would have to get it from a dining room. Which was odd I thought. My brother asked for Diet Coke and she said she would get it later. Our waters were never refilled. Our chef was great! And the filet and shrimp were great! But I wouldn’t choose this restaurant over the others again.

We have a Shoguns here at home ...it is same kind of grill show thing but nothing like Teppanyaki...the food was 10 times better!!!when I saw the big pile of garlic they were going to put in the mix I knew we were in for something special ....the sauces were excellent!!! Not too fond of the show stuff...I can live without that but the food was delicious!!!

This was fun and entertaining and great food! I wish we would have went twice!

The chef was AMAZING. And very entertaining! The best part that i loved was the fried rice! I had it a million times, but never the way he made it! I would only go back to Teppanyaki again on this Norwegian Cruise, not on land! :D Thank you!!!
