Review summary

Because of Freestyle Cruising, NCL is our exclusive cruise line. I am not interested in making new friends at a table of 10. I want to spend time with my wife. In today's toxic political climate, one opinionated person at your dinner table can ruin your entire cruise.

We have had good experiences whenever seated with others but I can definitely see that happening. We were recently on a cruise and there was a guitar performer in a venue and some blowhard was ranting and raving about politics with some others in there seating area. Get a life…. A cruise is a getaway to forget all about that nonsense.

I cruise Celebrity. I always choose Anytime Dining. Show up wben you want. They give you a choice of joining a table or one of your own.

I fully agree with you. Our last cruise I had to hold my tongue while the couple next to use gave their political opnions. Also enjoy all the free at sea offers and reduced rates for second passenger.

Every cruiseline offers the option of dining alone or with a bigger group. Y9u can also choose a dining time or walk in at your own time without a reservation. NCL doesn't have the edge on freestyle dining and I've never seen anyone say that their food is spectacular.
