Norwegian Epic Cruise Review to Europe - Western Mediterranean
Sail Date: May 06, 2012
Ship: Norwegian Epic
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Family (young children)

Review SummaryWe did not like the "FreeStyle" Dining. We never built a repoir w/ the Dining Staff. Never had good tasting Beef, whether steaks nor Meat Loaf ... not once. Service was lacking in Dining rooms, State rooms, Guest Relations Desks, Excursions.
We had a Family Balcony Staterooom on the 14th floor and they were cramped feeling. The new "wave" design in the rooms make for poor usage of space.
The On-Board Entertainment was incredible, ie Blue Man Group and Cirque Dreams/Dinner.
Food and Dining
Sushi was very good.
O'Sheehans Pub food was good.
Main Dining rooms were not good.
Service and Staff
We did like the color coding of Port-side and Starboard-side.
Cabin / Stateroom
We all agreed that the rooms were cramped, possibly due to the new "wave" design, causing poor usage of limited space.
Pros: On-Board Entertainment
Cons: Food and Service
