Review summary

The Epic certainly lives up to its name. The cruise was very professional. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entertainment was excellent. The sailing was very smooth.

The restaurant variety was good, but I didn't think we should have to pay for the specialty restaurants. We are paying so much as it is. There were only 2 major restaurants at night and they were always busy. I liked the convenience of dining hours.

Entertainment

The activities were very abundant. I would have liked more quiet areas, but if you looked around you could find them.

The staff was very friendly. I read in some reviews that the staff wasn't that friendly but we found the opposite. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and went out of the way to be helpful

We loved our stateroom. It was an inside cabin with ample space and storage. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was very accessible and easy to use. Our room steward Michael on the 11th floor was excellent. He was very helpful and considerate.

Pros: The variety of excursions.

Cons: The paid restaurants. We pay so much for the crusie, dining should all be inclusive.
