Review summary

We loved our cruise - plenty to do, amazing non-specialty dining, and customer service that goes the extra mile. Our cabin was well-appointed and we enjoyed the balcony. The only thing we would change is our zip-together-2-twins mattress, which wasn’t quite comfy.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was well-organized and everyone from Norwegian was helpful and friendly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was amazing in the non-specialty restaurants - and attention was paid to food allergies during dinner at both Savor and Taste. The Garden Cafe buffet selection and quality were outstanding. You could easily skip the specialty dining and not feel deprived.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Do visit the Cavern Club. :)

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every ship employee we encountered said hello, smiled and if we looked confused, asked if we needed help. At dinner, servers brought extra things for us to try if we were interested in items on the menu beyond our three courses. Everyone went above and beyond “required”.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was beautiful and immaculate. Common areas were inviting and comfortable. While the ship was at 80% capacity, we never had a problem finding quiet nooks for solitude or quiet conversation within the many common areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our large bed was made of two smaller mattresses wrapped in a zippered wrap. We found the bed a bit uncomfortable - the zipper elevated the center of the bed slightly and we felt like we rolling away from each other down a hill.

Ship tip

Book entertainment, specialty dining, and excursions as soon as you get on board as they fill up quickly.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We were in a cab within 15 minutes our room. Disembarking was a smooth sail.

Where do you book the actives/shows? First time cruiser and I want to make sure my kids get to do a couple things and see a show. So could you do a really simple timeline explaining? Like, park at the port 9am?, board take X hours, go to(insert place) to book shows.... I know that's a lot to ask, so any advice would be helpful. Thank you!
