Review summary

Overall this is a fantastic ship with lots of great areas to hang out. The Manhattan Room is a gorgeous dining room. If you sit near the back of the dining room there are huge windows that afford an excellent view of whatever you might be cruising passed. In the front of the ship you'll find the Observation Lounge. This is a great place to grab a bite to eat (they typically have snacks set out) and relax. The front of this room has windows spanning two decks and it's usually pretty quiet so it's a nice place to relax. The go cart track and laser tag are awesome, as is the Galaxy Pavilion which features immersive 3D games and rides. Late at night be sure to swing by the Local for wings or burgers. It's a good place to people watch if you grab a seat near the balcony the looks over deck 6.

The Humidor Cigar Lounge

3 out of 5

It's good, not great. It's cozy and quiet, not brightly light, and near the whiskey bar - which is what you want in a cigar lounge - but I found it almost too smokey. I know that seems like a strange comment on a Cigar lounge but it felt like there was absolutely no ventilation whatsoever. There were also people smoking cigarettes in there, which is posted as a no-no, but that went completely disregarded.

Savor Restaurant - Main Dining Room

Nice dinning room. I like the Manhattan Room better, but this is a little smaller if that's what you like. I think it's quieter.

Garden Cafe

Show up early to watch the seafood buffet. Even if you don't eat fish - it's a spectacle to watch the people!

The Manhattan Room - Main Dining Room

This is one of the nicest dinning rooms I've seen on a ship. It's just a beautiful room. The furnishings are nice and comfortable, it features massive windows off the back of the ship, the lighting is perfect. It's just a great place to grab a meal.

The Local

Great late night venue! They serve food late and it's in a central part of the ship so you can people watch here and never get bored.

Starbucks

It's a regular Startbucks, but on a ship. There's always a line and it never seems to move very quickly.

I didn't have any services but we did take a tour and it looked awesome. They offer extensive services and it looked very relaxing.

Lots to do on this ship. The Cavern Club is always a great place to catch a live act. We loved the Beatles cover band and went both nights.

The Cavern Club

AWESOME. The Cavern Club is one of my favorite things with this series of Norwegian Ships. The Beatles show is not to be missed.

Galaxy Pavilion

Really cool stuff. Maybe it was opening cruise jitters, but it did seem like a lot of the machines had to be frequently restarted which led to long lines.

Social Comedy and Night Club

Nice bar. We didn't catch a comedy act, but there's a few little side rooms where you can break away from the bar area and relax with friends.

Loved the layout. It's like a better version of the Bliss.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room was great. Always clean. Our balcony was huge. This was a mini suite so it also had the upgraded shower in the bathroom that was much larger than your typical cruise ship shower. The bed and linens were very comfortable.

Ship tip

Don't miss the Beatles show at the Cavern Club
