Review summary

This ship will look amazing out on the Caribbean waters with its beautiful hull abstract art. The Observation Lounge was my favorite part of the ship. It was so serene to look out the floor to ceiling windows with a 180 degree view. I sat on a cushioned lounge chair watching the sunset as the waiter served up my favorite glass of wine, it was just perfect, I spent a lot of time relaxing here. I fully enjoyed my 2 day stay on the Encore.

We dined at Taste and the Manhattan room, both were exceptional and offered a variety of choices for everyone taste. The prime rib and lamb chops were cooked perfectly. Lunch buffet also offered lots of options. I loved the seafood buffet that included lobster tails and crab legs. The variety of bars was just amazing from Whiskey to Wine to Mojitos, every type of hand crafted cocktail imagined and mixed perfectly.

Onboard Activities

Due to the late fall NY weather we were not able to enjoy the pools or any outdoor activities. We spent time at The Galaxy Pavilion and fully enjoyed the virtual reality stations. I especially liked the virtual hand gliding and roller coaster experience - big fun!!

Entertainment

We were unable to book a Broadway show but did enjoy the Cavern Club show featuring a Beatles tribute band. Later in the evening we danced at the Nightclub, the DJ played a great mix of music.

Service and Staff

The overall service by the staff was incredible. We never waited for anything we needed. The waiters, bartenders and ship personnel were friendly and attentive.

The ships layout was easy to navigate. The color scheme was tasteful and classy. The staff kept all the common areas exceptionally clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin size was perfect for the 2 of us with enough room to unpack everything and have our own space. I was impressed by the size of the bathroom and amount of storage space, it was very well designed. The balcony was big and had the weather been warm I'm sure we would have enjoyed time sitting out there. The beds and bedding were very comfortable.
