Review summary

A great trip with fantastic cruise line, great staff, fun and fantastic fellow passengers. Couldn't be happier about this cruise.

Embarkation

Couldn't be happier. Completely professional, great service, fantastic all around.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Fantastic food. I can hardly make meals like that on land. I can't believe they do it on a boat... for thousands of people... consistently day after day... 24x7.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Tons of fun all around. Cruise Director Richard and his staff were top-notch.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Fantastic shows, from the aerialists to the magician, the comedian, the staff-produced shows and the audience participation shows... and Bliss Lounge was hopping every night.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Friendly service with a smile.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Everything was clean and neat at all times. We only wish we had an aft elevator that went to our stateroom. We had to take the mid elevators all the time. Not a big deal, but if you're asking...

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cozy, but plenty considering we weren't spending much time in our cabin. We love inside cabins because you turn off the lights and it's pitch black. Perfect for getting right to sleep and sleeping soundly through the night.

Ship tip

Make sure you explore the whole ship. The first 4 days we fell into a pattern of going to Garden Cafe, Atrium, Venetian, Stardust Theater and then Bliss lounge. One day, we walked through The Cellars wine room and it was awesome. Then we started to discover Gatsby's, Aqua and other awesome places. Make time specifically to check out different areas of the ship early in your cruise so you know you are really getting what you want out of it.

Ports of call

New York, New York

5 out of 5
The greatest city in the world. What more can we say? If you can't find something interesting here, you have to just admit you're a boring person.

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
We only went to Coco Beach because we didn't make it onto the Airboat Tour. Cool beach, but nothing crazy.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

5 out of 5
Cool private island. Hot as hell, but the snorkeling was good. Bring a cover up for the kayak tour if you do it or you'll emerge redder than a lobster.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Maybe it was the short stay (8 hours tops), but compared to other Caribbean islands we've been to, it was nothing mind blowing. Nice local vendors, but nothing out of the ordinary or worth writing home about.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy.
