Review summary

This is not the best cruise with people of limited mobility because you are out at sea for too long and we hit rough seas. We did have a super excursion in Bermuda-- Wild West kayaking.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Lines getting on were somewhat long, not good if you have trouble standing. Actual check-in was very efficient and quick.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We only went to the buffet and used room service. The buffet had good food and variety. Roomservice was quick and convenient.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I attended the acupuncture and Chinese medicine presentation. It was okay but a little elementary for me. My husband pursued the Good Feet analysis with one of the physical trainers and he was quite happy with that.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Would have preferred not to have gone through loud and sometimes windy pool area to get to the buffet. Cleanliness was good.

Ship tip

The thing we like best is having the balcony so that we can enjoy breakfast there. The library is a good place to rest in quiet on the way to other places.

Kerby333 - We did meclazine on our first cruise as well as sea bands and did the ginger gum on later cruises. Meclizine is kind of the heavy-duty option and can make you sleepy. Turns out I don't need any of it. De does and usually does 1 Meclizine on the day while she gets her 'sea let's and either nothing or the lighter options after that unless it gets too rough. Pick what you like, but don't let it get ahead of you! If your not sure a little heavy-handed prevention at first is far better than trying to beat it down after it starts.

Hi, thank you for the good information. Can I ask if you know of people who took the patch or Meclizine to help with the rough seas? I am leaving on the Bermuda cruise next Friday and I do get sea sick but have never tried either remedy. I’m trying to decide if I should take something before we even leave port.
