Review summary

Will not go on the Dawn again. It’s showing too much ware. Crew were nice and show great. Overall very expensive for the quality.

The food was good but some heavily salted and I had to return a few dishes. The drink were fair but way too expensive.

Ship tip

Drinks are expensive and not that great. I had to return an Old Fashioned twice If you go during spring breaks beware. Kids monopolize the jacuzzi all hours. There should be one jacuzzi for kids only. After all adults are paying and could hardly use them. Also, the Dawn has no indoor jacuzzi so when you cruise early to Bermuda it’s freezing on deck. Casinos are so tight they squeak. Also no non smoking area.

The Dawn was remodeled in 2016. We sailed in 2017 and found the ship to be in great shape even though she was commissioned in 2002/ the upgrades made the ship look refreshed. We have been on luxury lines such as silver seas and we liked the Dawn enough to sail on her again this year.

I love the dawn, nice crew, the smaller size makes it more intimate, they did a reno 2 yrs ago. Maybe they need to work on it more.
