Review summary

The service throughout the cruise was excellent. The dining package was excellent as well as room service. Our major issue was the very late night drinking and extremely loud noise on the 7th deck until 3 am on the last day of the cruise. There should be some sort of monitoring to stop this juvenile behavior on the part of young rowdy over drinking adults. Many people were talking about in at breakfast the last morning before departing.  We were in room 8656 and the loud noise for several hours came from the 7th level deck. We didn't find out until the morning when other guests informed us where the loud noise was coming from.

About the tip listed above: "Dining and liquor package are excellent." I have not found that to be the case at all. If you get the same cabin, with no liquor package, it would be $500.00 plus less. So, you aren't getting the package for "free." The dining package, for 3 nights, is nearly $300.00. That does not include the 18 percent gratuity costs (which goes for both, actually.) So, you will end up paying about $900.00 plus for both of these "free" add-ons. Yes, you can easily end up with a $500.00 bill for the liquor. Drinks are small, and cost about $15-17 each. Beer is about $8-10. Choose to eat at the specialty restaurants and you will easily pay $40-50. But, even with the dining package, many choices on the menu still have an added cost, unless you pick only from items that do not have a star next to them. Want the full size steak at Cagney's? Pay extra, even with that dining package you already paid for. Want an appetizer...or two...with your meal? That may cost extra as well. Every cabin, at any category, will end up being far far far cheaper, without that "free" package. You also end up having to pay the "promotional fee" of $100-150", that you don't see added to the cost of your cruise (but will see added after you click on the package you want.) So, "free" is not....free.

Whenever I travel anywhere I take earplugs and an eye cover, just in case. Both are super-cheap. Melatonin pills also help you sleep. You live and learn.

Good Grief. It's the last day night of the cruise. I'm over 60 and always stay up past 2am on a last night. Enjoy yourself on your next cruise. But I'm usually one of the last to get off the ship, lol.
