Review summary

The staff of the Norwegian Dawn are very attentive hard working people who always anticipated our needs.

I did have one bad experience when we went to karaoke one night. There were young children in attendance and some of the participants picked songs with foul language and inappropriate sexual and violent lyrics. The MC stopped one performer because of this but then 2 other performers sang similar songs. I feel that he should have stopped them and mostly I feel that those songs should not have been available in the play list. Very inappropriate with families with young children.

The ship itself was clean and we had no other problems.

Need to change some of the acts. This is our third trip on the Dawn so we have seen all the shows. The Whitney Houston tribute show was new and we all loved it!

We did not travel with children.

The wait staff at the Aqua were excellent! Especially, Pavao Vlahovic, Mariana Vargas, Joe Mendes, Jack Xing Xing Wang and Leslie. We purposely ate at the Aqua on several occasions because of these particular people.

I don't want to offend anyone but it's everyone's vacation. So you really can't get mad. I see both sides but maybe the cruise line should've had kid friendly karaoke up to a certain time. But on that same note, it's not a Disney Cruise.

It was at 9 pm. Personally I don't think children belong in a lounge like that. Also, if the parents had issue with it then it was up to the parent to remove the children from the situation.
