Review summary

Staff should keep kids from jumping in the pool on top of people.  I'm not asking for life guards, just someone to tell them to stop jumping.  The parents arrive on the ship and just let their kids do what they want, wander around unsupervised at all time of the day and night.  Little girls in bathing suits alone in the hallways and on elevators!  What are these people thinking???  Make sure you go while school is in session.

Did not use.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room stewed, not so great. Told guest services but didn't improve. Once tips were auto applied service went down the tubes!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship is showing it's age. Why should they fix it up since this cruise almost always sells out?

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Ok, Getaway is MUCH better!

Ship tip

Only use this ship if you don't want or can't fly from Boston.

Ports of call

Parents are responsible for their children. If they are t taught manners in the home you can't expect them to behave when they are on vacation. Talk to the parents! This is not the cruise lime's problem!

I agree, lots of parents just let there children go wild. I have no problem telling them to knock it off.

This was a problem on the Dawn a few weeks ago. Teenagers running out of control. Banging on doors, playing in elevators going into places and doing things they shouldn't. People think the ship is a babysitting facility minus the babysitters. Ridiculous.

Agreed! I loved taking our children on a cruise but they were NEVER allowed to act the fool! I have been on too many cruises where the parents are off drinking and partying while the kids are unsupervised. We try to go now while school in still in session. April and May are great months to go. November is good too!

I mean I love love love kids and hope to take my preteen God Daughters on a cruise but they will be WELL supervised. Preteen girls and drunk men is asking for trouble. And when I take them I will be there to supervise them NOT let them explore on their own That's dangerous

And they have supervised activities so I don't understand
