Review summary

After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive about this cruise. I am pleased to say that we were very happy with this trip.  The ship was very clean and well kept, the service was great and the meals in the dining room were very good. It would be nice if they offered a lower calorie option on the dining room menus, and the buffet could use some additional selections during the course of the week.  The bands at the pool and the music in the atrium were very good. The theater entertainment could use a little more variety.  Overall, this was a very nice trip.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin small, as was expected, but it was comfortable and well kept. It was extremely well located in terms of the pool, gym and restaurants. Also, although you could hear the atrium music in the hallway, once we closed the door, there was silence. We have been on other ships (not Norwegian) where that has not been the case.

Ship tip

We thoroughly enjoyed walking laps on deck 7. As if the view of the ocean is not beautiful enough, there is art work painted on the ship, which is not only well done, but also portrays where you are if you enter at that doorway. Also, the deck is covered so you are not constantly in the sun.
