Review summary

If I'd been travelling with at least one other person, I would've given the ship a higher rating. However, the single supplement for solo travellers was much higher than on many other cruise ships - so therefore not really worth the cost if you're travelling alone. The NCL website also discriminates against people travelling on their own, with only offering the option to pre-book tours, restaurants, etc in multiples of 2. Not fair - especially not when you consider what NCL charges for single travellers.

Fabulous choice and quality of food.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great for the singers/dancers/musicians - not so great for some of the other entertainers.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very helpful and friendly staff.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Lovely, clean and well-laid out. It's hard to believe that there were over 2,000 passengers on the ship!

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The air conditioning didn't work properly and it took two days for them to sort it out. It was also noisy due to the large number of small children staying in adjoining rooms. (The steward, however, was great).
