Review summary

We were very impressed with the Norwegian Dawn. This was our first trip on this line, and we would definitely sail on one of their ships again.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate in the Garden Cafe and the Venetian. Traveling with a very picky vegetarian is always a challenge, but she generally had a good selection to choose from. The Venetian was very pretty and the food was good. We saw no need to eat in one of the premium dining rooms and pay a cover when the regular restaurants were good.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed the wide variety of activities that were available. The musical entertainment, while not top notch, was always enjoyable. We enjoyed the nightly shows in the Stardust Theater, with the Bollywood show being our favorite. The acrobatics and dancing were amazing!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was always friendly and pleasant. Our room stewards always went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was large, but easy to navigate. It was clean and well maintained. We appreciated the effort to contain illness by providing hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had an interior room on Deck 10. It was small, but attractive, comfortable and clean. There was adequate closet and storage space, and the bathroom, although small was laid out well. (We appreciated the shower doors over curtains). Although there was a pull-down bed available for a 3rd person, I would not recommend having more than two people in a room of this size.

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Bermuda is a beautiful destination. It is clean and safe, and the public transportation system makes it easy to get around and sightsee. Kings Wharf was OK, but we enjoyed St. George, Hamilton and Horseshoe Beach very much.
Don't Miss: Don't miss Horseshoe Beach. It is truly the most beautiful beach that I have ever seen.

Pros: The full range of activities that were available.

Cons: The service staff hovering over our tables as we ate, waiting to clear the plates.
