Beautiful family vacation we saw lots of wonderful sights. Evenings on the ship are a bit boring unless you drink a lot. Food was okay but nothing spectacular. I would visit these ports again but in a different ship. I was not impressed with the breakaway.

Very poor we had an ncl flight that left at 6 am arriving in Newark at 8 am. We meet the ncl representative who said the bus would be there at noon for us. Well what to do for 4 hours in an airport. At noon we boarded the bus road an hour to the port to be greeted with a 3 hour wait to get through security and on the ship. I would recommend you arrange your own transportation that would of saved us so much time.

Buffet was great food but over crowded people shoving and pushing I'm not sure how people where raised. Specialty restaurant had wonderful food but service was slow with over 2 hours to eat a meal.

Stage shoes where okay burn the floor was spectacular. Six we had mixed reviews younger people in our group loved it the older ones not so much. They really did not have many entertainers on board.

Very spacious lots of storage double sinks and a shower with 7 jets. The only negative is that right below you on the 8 floor is syd Normans night club and you can get the concert for free all night but if you want to skip the line sit on your balcony and listen
Ship tip
Pack some patience, water and snacks for line standing or go early in the morning. Stay relaxed and go with the flow have low expectations
We did the train ride not offered through the ship. It was nice for little kids took you about 30 minutes down the shore line then returned you. Past cruises we did the schooner ride I recommend that.
We did the ncl transfer to the airport and it was non eventful. We picked up our luggage in the warehouse loaded it onto a bus and away we went. Well worth the money to do this.
Thank you for your clear review. We’re going this Sunday and are going with no expectations other than to relax, go with flow and enjoy. Sounds like NYC port needs some organizing.
