Review summary

Amazing time! First cruise since COVID and first time on NCL. Our family of 5 loved every minute of it.

Embarkation

Embarkation took us about a 1.5hrs from bags to the Porters to on the ship. Seemed like they had too many people arriving at the same time. Overall it was fine though. Parking lot at the port is a slight walk over some railroad tracks.

Food and Dining

Drinks- we loved the Martini bar Shakers….other than those we thought the rest of the drinks had more juice instead of alcohol?? Teppanyanki- amazing! The food was great and the Chef very entertaining O’Sheehans- great. We loved the wings and burgers Shanghai Noodle Bar- always a big line but for us not that good at all. Taste/Savor/Manhattan Room Dinner- we all enjoyed our dinners in all three. My kids kept saying the food here was better than any of our Royal cruises…..have to get the strawberry shortcake desert! Buffett- breakfast was good. Plenty of options.

Onboard Activities

LOVED SIX, and all the games and contests. NCL did a great job using the Atrium area. Howl at the Moon was fun but some of those musicians were leaving soon. Syd Normans for karaoke was fun as well. One miss for us was a lack of Caribbean music /steel drum band on the pool deck. There was some other live music acts that were just ok.

SIX was great. Probably the best group of singers we have ever seen on a ship.

First time on NCL and the layout was good and very clean. Only miss is the casino location and walking through the smoke to get to certain activities.

Cabin / Stateroom

This was a last minute trip so can’t complain. We booked Inside staterooms midship. Very clean and in great condition but just a little too small.
