Review summary

Best cruise we have taken yet. We will definitely cruise with NCL again. Met some amazing people who will probably be friends for years to come. My ONLY complaint would be the coffee in the morning. STRONG would be an under statement. But.....if that's my only complaint then it's one I can live with.

Embarkation

Could not have been smoother. Got to the port at 10:45. Sitting down at Savor for lunch at 11:20.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We have cruised quite a bit and I can honestly say this was the best food by far. Had the Free at Sea specialty restaurants so we chose Cagney's, Teppanyaki and Moderno. The petite filet at Cagney's was the amazing!! We had Christmas dinner at Manhattan. The Beef Wellington may have been the best meal I have ever eaten. I cut it with my butter knife. Wow. Just wow. Did not eat buffet often.....but the breakfast and lunch we had were both really good. Buffet food but still quite tasty.

Onboard Activities

Did not use a lot of these but they looked nice.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was one hit after another. Burn the Floor and Six were absolutely fantastic. Dueling Pianos and the comedians in Headliners were very good. Sid Norman's Pour House quickly became a favorite. Excellent all around.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service was great. I had read some negative reviews but I disagree with all of those. Bar staff were always kind, funny and quick. Never waited more than 3-4 minutes for a drink. Table service on the pool deck was fantastic as well. Dinner servers in all dining rooms were more than happy to get anything the customers wanted and service was always quick here as well. Julius our room steward was so polite, kind and accommodating. He checked in many times each day to make sure we had everything we needed. Loved him!!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Clean, clean, clean!!!! Never saw a table dirty for more than a minute. Someone always cleaning something. I liked the layout and figured it out really quickly which is saying a lot as it usually takes me until day 5 or 6. 😂

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cruise ship cabin small but plenty of storage and was comfortable. The bed was too hard for me but Julius brought a foam pad on day 2 and it was better. Not great but do-able. We got an angled balcony that was awesome!!!! 2 chairs, a small table and a lounger. It did look into the balcony next door but they were a cool family so we made friends.

Ship tip

See the shows!!!!! Eat at all the different restaurants....you will not regret it.

Being Christmas day, most things were closed but we did find some shops and a very cool bar. Sharkees I think was the name. Very nice and clean area. Great locals here!!!

Disembarkation

Could not have been easier. We bought the Priority Access for this trip to see if it was worth it ..... and it was. With priority disembarkation we were out in 20 minutes flat.
