Food in specialty restaurants (Ocean Blue & Cagneys) was wonderful. Cruise overall was good, would ask for more entertainment as far as the shows are concerned. As a avid cruiser I am accustomed to atleast 3-4 shows per cruise.

Review summary

The cruise overall was good, however there was not enough entertainment (shows). Also the wait staff in the Garden Café (buffet) was not very attentive. One suggestion I would have is to have theme nights in the club. The music was geared toward a younger crowd.

Cabin steward was great. Wait staff in specialty restaurants were also very attentive. What I found lacking was the staff in the Garden Café and buffet areas. No one came around to see if you needed anything.

We were very disappointed in the size of the Mini suite. Our regular category is a balcony and we decided to upgrade to a Mini suite for this cruise. The cabin was very similar to a regular balcony. Would not choose this option again on Norwegian. Very disappointing

Be prepared to wait in lines for everything, This is a large ship and everything you do requires waiting in a long line.

Most avid cruisers of NCL are aware that the only real difference between a balcony cabin & mini-suite cabin is in the size of the bathroom. The mini-suite bathroom is larger and the shower has body Jets. That's the only difference. So if you don't need a bigger bathroom, stay in the traditional balcony cabin.
