Moderno was excellent .... All dining rooms were great ... Buffet at Garden Cafe , a little crowded , a few people without manners, kids running around . Dining rooms better

Common area were well maintained .... I’m out on the smoking in the casino , you have to walk through the casino to get to the back of the boat , decks 6,7,8 all smelled of smoke and the restaurants on deck 7 expose you to second hand smoke and it’s not an enjoyable expiernce

Ship tip

If you want a cruise that affords you and your wife or significant other peace and quiet .... this ship was s NOT for you . Check to see when schools have off because they over ran the ship , hanging out in hallways, stairways walking through Casino in pack formation and bumping people trying to enjoy themselves . I understand child friendly cruises but this seemed like too many. I am likely to look at another cruise line that is not so geared towards the kids enjoyment rather than an adult . I have 6 children of my own and looked for this to be an escape and found myself thrust into listening to parents having to discipline their children, while I was trying to relax . I did not bring my children for that reason and had to deal with it everywhere even in the Breakaway Theater for the Rock of Ages show which was SPECIFICALLY stated to be ADULTS only .Ruins the atmosphere while 4 and 5 year old are in need of bedtime .

Tenders were a little much, hurry up and wait . Limited time on Island , if you go , go to the end of the island don’t go to the first beach , crowded . Go to the other end maybe 1/2 mile walk but it looked A LOT less crowded . Otherwise beautiful , clean and water was great

A little rough because everyone is trying to get off on deck 7. Others are trying to go get breakfast , was like fish swimming upstream fighting the current , large parties waiting for stragglers in the common area that th people trying to go down stairs are having maneuver around them , have them meet on another floor .

It doen't matter whether school is in session or not. Parents seem to take their children out of school. I sailed in September, specifically trying to avoid children, and it was loaded with them. They were school age, not pre-school.
