Excellent ship and crew. Nice cruise, but probably won't take it again unless they have a multi-day stay in Nassau similar to what they do in Bermuda. Will go to an all-inclusive resort again to enjoy the Bahamas. Departing from New York is more convenient than flying. I have departed from there on 3 cruises now. I love the Bahamas, but again, don't like the short port times and wish they would HAVE A MULTI-DAY PORT STAY IN NASSAU AS THEY DO CURRENTLY IN BERMUDA.

Ship Quality

Ship's layout was nice. Ship was clean. Negatives: Since the casino was next to the center multi-deck atrium, the smell of smoke drifted to multiple decks. They should not have a carpet in the casino or replace it more often. It absorbrs the smoke and the smell cannot be readily removed.
Cabin / Stateroom

Had a queen bed with balcony last time that was very good. Upgraded to a mini-suite with king bed, balcony and larger bathroom. Fantastic. One drawback is that since I was on the 14th deck, in the early morning, I could hear the crew moving the lounges around on the 15th deck. Didn't bother me as I am an early riser. If you like to sleep later, I would not recommend a cabin on the 14th deck.
Ship tip
Go to a specialty restaurant and the main dining rooms a couple of times. It is a relaxing experience.
Nassau waterfront is great. Wish the ship would stay there longer and skip Port Canaveral. Went to Balmoral Island which was nice, but a little expensive for food. $22 for a sandwich.
Excellent. Last time we carried our luggage off the ship to get an earlier start home. Big mistake. Elevators were jammed so we had to take the stairway and were stuck there for over an hour. This time, we checked our luggage the night before. We had a leisurely breakfast in the morning and waited for our tag color to be called. Hardly any line to get off and were only a half hour later than we were in the previous nightmare.
I believe part of the reason the stay in the Bahamas is so short is because pretty much EVERY cruise ship from EVERY cruiseline that is anywhere near The Bahamas stops there! And with a limited area to dock those ships, plus each one has around 3000 or so passengers on board, and there are a limited number of excursions available, it just isn't possible to have a lot of ships docking there overnight.
