Review summary

My family and friend enjoyed the cruise. My kids had a Blast the only thing was the service since we have to pay gratuities in every cruise I understand this gratuities are standard but if the staff not provide a good service and respect that you are a guest then it's not worth it. Maybe your staff are overworked or not feeling happy with their job.

The clerk who helped us didn't know what to do with our reservation we are a party of 7 and had 2 cabins they told us we can check in together because we are using same card but clerck didn't know how to do thing another person came to help him but took us more than 20 minutes to get set up.

The food was great we had a dinner reservation at the manhattan room for my birthday and everything was great. my salmon was not cooked well i have to wait for another and i was last to finish. The buffet was the best every night we enjoy different type of food.

As part of a big company like Marriott corporation and work in hospitality. my experienced with the staff was the worst I ever experience in a cruise my last cruise was in Royal Caribbean and the service was great!sorry I can't say the same for NCL breakaway. every time we was at the Atrium bar the staff not even smile they assist another guest that was not in line they get upset if you let them know if they can put more ice on your drink. Also they looked at you like you are there to bother them!! just not what I expected!! The cleaning staff do not changed the sheets for the entire stay they only change the towels and consecutive days my room was not made till late evening. only two of the staff may my stay i think her name was Loan at the pool and Hags Santos who we meet at the private island. the entertainment staff was outstanding they was full of energy.

The cabin was very small it has lest storage than the solo cabins!!

Please provide hospitality training to your staff and make a plan to give them incentives that may change their attitude with customers.

I agree with you about the poor service at the bars, with the exception of one bartender, who made us feel like old friends, we were treated like we were a bother.
