I was actually very nervous about cruising, but really loved the atmosphere of the ship and the beautiful surroundings. We will definitely cruise Norwegian again.
Embarkation

Embarkation was pretty typical. The lines moved at a decent pace.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The Specialty Restaurants were fantastic. The main buffet reminded me of the cafeteria food in elementary school. The occasion “complimentary” buffet was great. Overall, if you eat in the restaurants, whether specialty or not, you will find great food.
Onboard Activities

. The hot tubs were great, but heavily crowded. It was often hard to find one to be able to go in.
The spa was really great. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I vowed I would not be upsold on products, since the services are overpriced. However, I was so impressed with the masseuse and hair stylist, that I bought what they suggested. I hope they make some sort of commission on it they were awesome.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
There were so many activities to choose from. We really enjoyed the stage entertainment of “Burn the Floor” and “Rock of Ages”.
Service and Staff

Everyone went out of their way to please you and make you feel welcomed. My husband even has a weird issue with keeping his fork on the right side of the plate, instead of the left. The waiter in La Cucina noticed and made sure to set his fork on the right with every course. He did not even say anything. The attention to detail was phenomenal.
Ship Quality

The design is great. The overall cleanliness was great. My only complaint was the smoking allowance. We had to try to walk around the casino in order to not get bombarded by smoke.
We are at a restaurant near the casino and our clothing and skin smelled like smoke until two showers were taken.
Also the rooftop smoking area was right by the kids pool area. It is not the best placement.
Cabin / Stateroom

Having the balcony was one of the best parts of entire trip. There was nothing better than having the door open and listening to the waves or enjoying the sunset from it. Our room steward, Rodrigo, was also awesome. He always knew what was going on around the ship and what places to visit at port. He knew our names before we even introduced ourselves, and he left us adorable towel bunnies when he made up the room.
Ship tip
Expect to pay more than the expected cost. Things that are not included, but we did not really think about were: water, drinks, specialty restaurants, port fees/taxes, some entertainment and other services. We ended up paying an additional $800 onboard. .
But, it was 100% worth the experience.
It is a beautiful location, But heavily crowded. The lines for everything were long and it was near impossible to find an open chair. It almost was not worth getting off the ship.
It was a typical tourist trap. I felt the excursions were over priced, and most were only for a short amount of time. You could spent $200 per person to pet a dolphin for 30 minutes.
Also, Businesses did not like taking credit cards. I do not like traveling with much cash and it was inconvenient. Most of the shops claimed their card machines were down.
