Review summary

WE WERE EXCITED TO GO ON NORWEIGEN. IT WAS MY DAUGHTERS 1ST TIME. MY FAMILYS 1ST TIME ON THIS BRAND. HAD SOME ISSUES...THE PRIVATE ISLAND WAS CLOSED AND WERE ONLY NOTIFIED A FEW DAYS BEFORE VIA EMAIL.THE ROPES COURSE AND THE JUMPING THING WAS ONLY OPEN 2X' OUR TOUR WAS CANCELLED DO TO WEATHER. BUT THE WEATHER TURNED OUT NICE. HAD TO RUN UP AND DOWN TO TOUR DESK TO REBOOK, AND WAIT ON A HUGE LINE. THEN GO BACK AND GET CANCELLED TICKETS IN CABIN. SMALL TALK WITH CABIN STEWART TOLD HIM I WAS SO FULL AND HE SAID I CAN SEE YOUR GETTING A BELLY (RAMIE....I THINK HIS NAME WAS) I WAS SHOCKED. FOOD POISONING THE LAST DAY. I WAS DONE AT THAT POINT. I will not book with the Norweigen Breakaway again.

I got food poisoning the last day. had lox on a bagel in one of the free restaurants for breakfast, then philly steak (2 bites and nachos maybe 5 bites....and minutes later my stomach went crazy) in same restaurant. was awful....had to get room service that night and I could not keep anything in. SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS....AMAZING!!!!!!!!

ALL CAPS MAKES people believe you more. Anyway, they cancel excursions for a number of reasons. ESPECIALLY IF there is low attendance or the weather is bad. THE MAN AT THE PHOTO STATION on our cruise commented that my mom and I looked like sisters and it didn't offend me one bit.. but to each his own.

No cruises in your profile; No credibility to your post. 🚽

I have been on the Breakaway many times and never had a bad cruise.I guess you went months ago because it has been going to Bermuda since April.I went to the Bahamas three times on the Breakaway and the private island was missed once due to bad tides. The other times I didn't bother to get off because it takes time and I enjoy the ship. The cabin crew are great when you see them sometimes they don't understand so maybe he was just kidding. One bad trip and you write off NCL I seriously don't think you had a terrible time it's not possible you are on vacation.Im going back on in September to Bermuda again my experience is always positive so I don't agree with your comment.Happy cruising to everyone 😎

You lose all credibility if you do not know how to use "you're" and "your" properly and use ALL CAPS.

When exactly did you cruise? BA has been going to Bermuda since April, so assuming this was a cruise done earlier. There will be times when they have to cancel GSC due to sea conditions and the fact that it is a tendering stop. Also, GSC was closed last but reopened right before Thanksgiving. Im sure he didnt mean any disrespect concerning your belly. As for food poisoning it can happen if you dont use proper handwashing. Its always a risk when cruising. As for excursions you should have been able to rebook on your cabin TV. We have sailed BA 5 times and never had any issues. The only one was the first time when we hit extremely rough seas and the stop im San Juan was canceled.
