Review summary
Quick background: Female, 40, 15 previous cruises on Carnival, Royal, and Celebrity.
First time on NCL and below are the reason I enjoyed the cruise:
Nice overall ship décor, very clean modern. Stateroom Forward Oceanview was large and bright. Food was Great. Service was Great. Private NCL transport via catamaran to St. George’s was nice. Rock of All ages was really fun.Below are the main reasons for my dislike:
Bad Ship design/Layout. Felt crowed at all times. The pool is the size of a postage stamp. Not enough activities for (3) sea days. I felt nickeled and dimed at every venue/event. Gym was oddly laid out and very small. Not enough machines or space to stretch. Having to pay extra to go to the sauna/steam room is a rip off. Entertainment is repeated too much. One can only go to Howl at the Moon for a few hours. Theater is old and seats are uncomfortable. It’s hard to sit there for 90 minutes and not have a backside ache.Overall I would NOT go on NCL again.
