Great Cruising Behind Hurricane Matthew and Ahead of Nichol

Sail Date: October 09, 2016

Reviewed: 1 month ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Despite the 2 successive hurricanes bearing down Bermuda and the Caribbean, still it was a fun cruise onboard the ship. It could have been a lot more if we reached the destination port in Bermuda after missing the shore excursion in another cruise last May, also due to bad weather. I'll recommend this particular cruise ship and destination but never in the months where hurricane season in the Atlantic and the Caribbean basin is at its peak.Wink

Cabin / Stateroom
Need more closet and/or cabinets for clothes.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
A bit slow...has room for improvement.
Destinations and Excursions
Never got to Bermuda and wasn't excited at all of the alternate destination ports - Port Canaveral and Nassau, Bahamas.
Onboard Activities
Lots of fun!
Entertainment
Kudos to the entire Entertainment staff under the leadership of Cruise Director Dandan and his assistant, Luz, with special mention of Jeff and Crystal. The Mahattan Band, especially singer Laryssa, in the Manhattan Room with their danceable music. The dou of Arvin & Emily - love their repertoire.
Service and Staff
Restaurant staff - Mac Gregor Dabreo, Kimberly Morre, and Geneveve Gomes were very accomodating.
Food and Dining
Didn't get my free lobster - not even a single claw!
New York, New York
It was raining...

Tip

Lot's of dancing and parties on board...be sure to be on good fit and practice those those dance moves (Latin, Disco, Ballroom & Hip Hop) before the cruise.
