Room was very nice.

Food was excellent.

Some of the staff rude & snippy!

Getting off the boat in NY Fast & easy

Could have better activities on board

Should not allow smoking

Should not charge for spa when booking a massage

Also why the $7.95 room service charge?

Exactly rgruenhaus we were on a different floor from the casino in a area that was non smoking and it was overwhelming

On cruise ships like the Breakaway the casino deck which is a smoking deck, is open to other nonsmoking areas. Of course smokers wouldn't notice, but that smoke wafts out to other areas such as dinning on other decks. I quit back in 1971 and notice any smoke. Hard to breathe and burning eyes.

Haha I guess I'm not considerate. When I smoked. As long as it was a smoking area I lit up. I didn't ask anyone if hey minded. Again it's a smoking area. As long as you avoid those areas your fine.

A non smoker should not be subjected to smoke. If you want to kill yourself off that's fine, but it's not fair that a non smoker doesn't have the right to clean lungs. They most definitely should not have the same rights. I would love to go into the casino but I don't have the option to do it in a healthy way. I smoked for 25 years and felt that way even then. A smoking section in a restaurant or any public area is like a peeing section in a pool!

I believe smokers and non smokers all have the same rights if you hate smoking that much go on a non smoking ship other then that stop bitching remember we live in the usa equal rights

There is poor ventilation in the casino full of smokers, when you walk through the ship anywhere near the casino all you can smell is cigarette smoke, we were going to eat at the restaurant on deck 6 ( specialty restaurant) outside but when we sat down the smell was so bad we asked to be moved inside, the casino has no doors to keep stink in there.

I was a smoker for 25 years, just quit 2 years ago. Not every smoker was inconsiderate. I was always very considerate (even walking down the street at bbqs so no one had to smell it) but I do agree that they should not have "public" smoking spots such as the casino. I would love to go gamble but I'm way too sensitive to the rancid, stale smoke from cigarettes being smoked over and over. Knowing it's in the middle of the ship concerns me as I don't want to smell it. It's disgusting and I quit for a reason! I could be a millionare if it weren't for them damn smokers 😉

Omg my problem is why is the casino full of smokers in the middle of the ship. They should be secluded so no smokers do not have to be subjected to all that smell of smoke. But other then that the Breakaway was great

I smoke and if I'm in the casino and someone I sit near doesn't like the smell I ask them would they mind if I smoked so there are some people that smoke that like myself are considerate of others.I am aloud to smoke in there or anywhere smokers can smoke but I'm still considerate.Like people say you can't please everyone but on vacation we are all there to have a great time.I know I always do 😎

I don't know what city or state you currently live in..but in general there is no more smoking allowed in restaurants

Kostik I used to be a smoker as well. It's been 16 years since I quit. Smokers don't have any consideration and smoking in their area. They smoke wherever they feel like it and don't care if people are Eating as well. I'm talking about in general. On a cruise ship they do have their smoking areas but I feel that I shouldn't have to even smell it and it's a fire hazard as well.

Thank you kostik. Felix77sparks, how is your health in jeopardy if you stay away from smoking areas ? Which by the way are located in huge amounts of open air which would allow any of this caustic , acrid smoke to waft away before it would have a chance to enter your lungs . I hope you ride a bicycle instead of a car & you ride it in a bubble

felix77sparks, I used to smoke, I don't smoke anymore. Being a smoker is hard. So, they do need a place to smoke. However l, for your benefit, there are non-smoking cruises out there. So when you book next time, try getting on one of those. I know Carnival has a non-smoking cruise.

Non smokers apparently don't have a right for good health! It's a bunch of BS they should not allow people to smoke on cruise ships! It's a fire hazard as well

Until or if tobacco becomes illegal , smokers have rights. Avoid smoking areas and you'll have no issue, just as smokers avoid non smoking areas.
