Review summary

I would never cruise NCL again. The staff was not very customer service orientated. They lied about different things that they promised us. It was my sister and brother in laws anniversary and they had the sweetheat package and they never delivered any of the things that they paid for. Also they charged a fee for just about everything. they only had to shows that were free throughout the whole 7 days! Also bathrooms kept getting stopped up in my room. I didn't like this cruise line at all. I had a good time because of my family and the people I was with but we have all decided to opt out of ever doing ncl again!

I'm a first time cruiser going on the breakaway on Dec. 11. I can't tell you guys how pleased I am to see that, for every "one" bad review I see, there are like "20" good ones!! Lol. I love that! And it always just boils down to one thing... "JUST HAVE FUN"!!! Lol. Thanks guys.

Every time I ordered a Birthday or Boñ Voyage package got it or I would be complaining, surprised you did not! Went two times on the Breakaway, loved ir!🚢

Never been on the breakaway before. We will this Novemeber. We have sailed on NCL before and we were pleased. Sorry you had such a poor experience. All I can say is maybe you should give it another try.

I've been on the Breakaway twice and loved it both times. The pool area is small and gets crowded, so we stuck to the back deck with the waterfall. The food and service were top notch. We loved it so much we put a deposit down on our next cruise. I'd be surprised if you don't enjoy your cruise!

Breakaway was a great cruise! They do have some issues with how they handle service issues at the concierge desk, but overall it was fantastic and I would cruise them again in a heart beat.

Cool Jay...no worries..it was the best cruise ever! Husband and I and our friends (another couple) went June 5 -13... amazing! Excellent service..clean rooms..never an empty drink awesome shows...great food....time of our lives. Booked again for October 23!!

I was on the Breakaway in October 2015 and sailing her again in September. Never had a problem and the staff always had smiles serving us.

Cruised NCL twice and quite honestly they are top notch. Cooljay please don't let this review alter the excitement of going on this cruise because these people go above and beyond to make your cruise memorable and besides this ship is newer and amazing. Going on it again soon and me and my wife personally can't wait. I have a few cruises under my belt and this line is my preferred. And believe me we are very picky.

You can bring a bottle but they'll get you for a $15 corking fee at embarkation ☹️

I don't know how it's possible to have gotten nothing they ordered with their package ? Wouldn't one go to or call guest services to ask for & then if necessary , demand the items be sent ? And what did they "lie" about as far as promising things ? I'm not buying it

My family and I have been on the breakaway twice just recent two weeks ago!!! Loved everything!! Seen the free show Rock of ages both times and burn the floor which is also free. Already planning ncl escape for next year!!!!

...also, all of the entertainment was free...except the Cirque Jungle Dinner and Wine Lovers Lunch shows. But you got a meal with each.

I just started cruising last May after retiring. Have done 9 NCL cruises from Manhattan (Gem & Breakaway) loved every single moment. Am going on Breakaway in 11 days, Gem in Sept and Oct, Breakaway in Nov. Can't wait! Sorry you had a bad experience but after 2 Royal Caribbean (Jan Allure and March Anthem) I'll stick with NCL!

I have cruised with NCL before I've never had any problems the people were super nice had called us by first name as soon we walked on the ship.

Really? Wow...Me, my wife and 6 year old daughter are going to Bermuda on August 21st. It's our first. I hope we don't experience anything like that..
