Review summary

This was the worst cruise vacation I have ever taken. The employees were all miserable. The wait times for all restaurants were extremely long. The garden cafe which is a buffet style dining room, was always out of food, coffee, cream, milk, and sugar. The Shanghai restaurant had such awful service. The hostess Reizhel was extremely rude to us when our buzzer went off and she flat out told me no it never went off you need to wait as it was flashing and vibrating in my hand and then we waited 30 minutes longer from that point. Our total wait time was an hour and a half when we were told 30 minutes. Our bathroom in our balcony room broke 4 times and took hours to fix. Then they told us it was fix and it still wasn't. All the game shows were in the atrium which was very tiny and never a place to sit. The bars were always extremely packed and you waited at least a half hour to get a drink. The bartender yelled at my son for being at the bar but he was ignored for 25 minutes and all he wanted was some soda and the only place you can get the soda is at the bars. The list can go on and on. This ship was so awful and I would never go back on Norwegian again!

I was on the same cruise as sportsnutt24. I find it hard to believe your comment about the employees were all miserable. The cafe was always full when we were there. I never waited more than 3 minutes for a drink. Sorry but I think this is another fake review.

wow... all these perfect people judging a person about being miserable, or should never cruise again, or a moaner .... while I find it hard to believe the OP spent on average 30 minutes waiting for a drink or soda, I do appreciate the frustration of not having something fixed the first time... we've all been there when it took multiple times to fix something and were severely inconvenienced (ever deal with the cable company??) and if you haven't had something get under your skin and ruin a whole experience, you're lying... and then the little things start adding up that it is now the mountain out of a mole hill. Everyone has an opinion including you but so has the OP. Many of the complaints are in other posts both here on Ship Mate and over on Cruise Critic.. their's just happens to be the latest. I am very happy you all had blissful perfect NCL experiences but some didn't and I bet there are some on her ships right now experiencing disappointment. I'm not defending the OP's post but pointing out that name calling and mob bullying isn't cool... I wonder where our kids learn it from. and because I'm not afraid to speak up and say "really guys!?"... you may now commerce the attack on me. 😁

I just got off the ship today with a large group and no one had anything bad to say I never waited longer than 3 mins for a drink or had any bad experiences with any of the crew members they all were very helpful

I only waited 60 seconds for my drinks tips go a long way.Second time on the ship and the crew remembered us.Had a blast will go again in August 😎

Not sure where you concluded that cruising was not an enjoyable form of vacationing for the OP..... and that he should never cruise again? We've all had a string of "nothing seems to go right" that makes everything minor seem overwhelming.... the OP was venting about NCL. Heck, if you took your own advice after your first heart break.... you wouldn't be with the one you're with now.... seeing you would seek another form of dating

We just got back from this trip and loved it. It is true that the atrium is too small for big events or crowds. We never had an issue at the buffet and we pretty much walked up to any restaurant or bar and got service without waiting or needing a rsservation. Our minisuite was amazing and the bathroom was huge. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to get to know us where ever we went. We actually made friends with several of the staff and one of them offered to usher us off of the ship so we wouldn't have to wait. We were very happy with the trip and would do it again, but see some different sites.
