Review summary

The ship was beautiful and modern.Loved the layout of the ship. Easy to get around. Now,for the disappointed part. Did not like any of the food. Way to much salt on everything, very small portions. The new change in the menu was not for me and my guest. Have had much better food on my other 4 cruises  with NCL. The drinking package was good but you had to get your own because there wasent much staff. The entertainment was so so, again have had better on other cruises. Not enough seating other than the theater. Dident like paying for some of the entertainment. I feel I paid enough and it should of been included. Having second thoughts about booking another cruise. I usually buy the deal for the next cruise on board for the savings, this time I dident like the last 4 cruise's. Having second thoughts.

we like salt, but if you are on a no salt or low salt diet, they will gladly provide a special diet. We noticed that there was at least one or two people at our dinner settings with special diets. The head waiter would come to them each night and arrange their meal for the following night. Since we like a lot of spice, I am going to bring a small shaker of cayenne pepper. although, I did notice they have Tabasco and other sauces for the asking.

You are right. ƒ‚‚ The only seasoning the chef knows is salt. ƒ‚‚ Lots and lots of salt. ƒ‚‚ At the omlette station that had a display of fresh eggs I asked that an egg be broken and cooked. ƒ‚‚ They refused to do it. ƒ‚‚ Their eggs come from a mix and it is LOADED with salt.

Most, if not all of the food on this ship is frozen and then reheated on board.

Come on over and check the comments on Princess Cruises. Mostly positive. However, we don't care for the taste of the food either. Too bland. My wife believes they tailor the taste to the majority of passengers, who may prefer a less than spicy flavor. We are from So Cal, and are use to that.
