Review summary

The cruise staff was excellent, especially our cabin attendant and the bar staff.  The state room was very nice and comfortable, loved the bathroom.

Was very unhappy with the lack of live music by the pool area and no food options while enjoying a cocktail.  The free style dining options were good but didn't like the fact that you had to pay extra for a exceptional meal.  I thought there was alot of children on the cruise for the time of the year and didn't appreciate the crying.  Unfortunately the weather was terrible which was a first for me.

I will not be cruising with Norwegian in the future.

You can boycott NCL in the future, but be warned that most USA departure cruise lines are family friendly. Just sayin

I don't understand how you expected NCL to control the weather. You had to know that you were booking a cruise on the ATLANTIC OCEAN during named hurricane season (just in case you didn't know, NOAA has designated from August 1st - November 30th). Therefore, it is your fault that you didn't have a good time due to the weather. It's also, your fault if you didn't expect all the youngsters that were on the cruise. NCL TV commercials, websites and printed brochures highlight the kid friendly activities, promotions, venues and groups to entice parents with children as young as 3 months old. So why be surprised or annoyed that parents bring them. If you want adults only entertainment, check your daily Freestyle newsletter, delivered daily to your stateroom in the evening. You can plan your next day to avoid maximum kiddy exposure.
