Review summary

Norwegian provides a nice middle of the road cruise experience; not too fancy or to cheap.  The Breakaway is a wonderful ship with lots to do.   Food in regular dining rooms was good and consistent.  We found the service pleasant and helpful if not always efficient.  Leaving from NYC is wonderful.  We avoided the hassles of flying and boarding was easy and efficient.  The time in Bermuda was fun; you could do as much or as little as you wanted and onboard activities continued even while we were docked.  I would definitely consider NCL and Breakaway again.

This mini-suite had the largest on board bathroom I have ever seen. Two of us could be in there at the same time without being on top of each other. The only downside was that the balcony is very small.

Ship tip

Cagney's Steakhouse is worth the investment. The other specialty restaurants were good but not great. The fact that there is a charge for room service is ridiculous.
