Review summary

I found the ship to nickel & dime you for everything. We buy the soda package and have to pay for water. We had to pay for pastries and gelato.  On other cruise lines never had to pay. Also the amenities area was small. That's because they wanted more rooms.  The room was nice the balcony was very small.  Also they kept changing my reservations that I made months in advance. I've been on NCL before and it wasn't like that.  It was a money ship and lack luster.  They just wanted to pack them in.  The food in Ocean Blue was terrible and we had to pay extra  for some items.  The food itself could have been better. We couldn't get into some shows.  They were over crowded.

can't believe it was only 2 years old . It was worn.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room nice. Balcony way to small and we couldn't open the door to our family next door. It was forbidden.

Ship tip

The pool is way to small for all those people unless you wanted to pay extra for the Haven or VIP club.

Ports of call

New York, New York

3 out of 5
Too much confusion

A lot of people complain about paying for water....is there any free water on a trip like in the buffet or something? first time cruiser. . . just curious....

Thanks for posting your first review here.  I suggest if you cruise on another huge ship, that you reserve your show times before you board.  Then you won't be disappointed.
