Review summary

This was our fourth cruise on Norwegian and one of the most disappointing. The food was mediocre to say the least. The 5 "free" dining restaurants were ok, nothing to rave about. The menu was the same in every venue, so it didn't matter where you ate. If you wanted to try a "speciality restaurant", it cost you between $20 - $50 per person.

There was so much salt in the food that all in our party had swollen fingers

Upon questioning the front desk about tips, we were informed that they were compulsory. Not true!Tips mean to insure prompt service! You can dispute the daily tip charge added to your bill if not satisfied.

Given the huge size of this ship, the entertainment options were very limited.

The cabin size was much smaller then previous Norwegian cruises.

All in all, it was an ok vacation. Would we book Norwegian again? Not sure!
