Review summary
we are platinum members with NCL and diamond with RCCL- we take 2-4 cruises a year and have cruised more than 8 times to Bermuda- we also have cruised Hawaii, Alaska, Panama Canal, Mediterranean, northern Europe, Canada and eastern Mediterranean- Breakaway is a beautiful ship- 4 adults cruising this time both with mid-ship mini-suites which I booked this past winter obviously before reviews came out- balconies extremely small and very disappointing- we were on deck 9 so overlooked the roof of the Waterfront meaning we could not look down into the water which we like to do- life boat drill was disgusting- were told not to bring our life jackets- 35 minutes long keeping people standing in the atrium finally viewing life jacket instructions on a screen most people could not see- our life boat station group had been told to stand in 2 lines for women and children and men which of course was ignored after 5minutes with people looking for chairs to sit down especially the elderlyShip experiences
