Review summary

Would I use NCL again? More than likely, No. It was the first time my child didn't want to go to every session, because of the noise.

Embarkation

This was very good.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The food choices was very poor. Staff were very good, but they workload was too much, hence service was poor. Missing food order items and servings wrong food items. Specialty restaurant was alway somewhere to go from a special occasion, but it's no better that the main dining room (poor choice on menu and service).

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Only in door pool is adult only. Kids club age range is to great, causing a very loud noisey room. Very long queue to register, 2 hours. Also need to at least 45mins before session starts to get a place. They really need to see how P&O run their kids clubs. Really need to get the booking of kids club on the app.

Entertainment

Not very good.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
It took 2 hours to register my child, why can't it be done on line so it only needs checking. Had to be in the queue 45mins before each session to make sure of a space. Age range to big in same room, hence room very noisey. At each session was asked where we would be, told them where in the ship we would be, so why ring our room only when there was a problem?

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Staff were good, but they have to much to do, so service is poor.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was fair clean. Design is poor. For example customer service desk is in same area as noisey events, so making difficult to hear what they say.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
It was OK. It had a bed settee. Was told they only made beds once a day, which I am OK with. But who what's a settee bed made as a bed in the morning. It might as well be a real bed!! Had to make a arrangement with the cabin attended. Carpet was not very clean.

Ship tip

Bring magnetic hooks to hang item on, walls and ceiling are steel.

Late docking, so not much time here.

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

This where we got off, but spent an extra day here. Science experience was excellent.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Had a 9.15am time to depart. Was off in 15 mins. Very smooth and easy. Best one I have ever had with any cruise line.
