It was my 1st cruise (2nd in total) since 2014 on a totally new cruise line. I was nervous and at most times overwhelmed, but I have always wanted to go to Alaska since 1996 (high school years c/o 97'), there was even a time between 1990- 2005 that I wanted to live and work in Alaska) so, it was a good nervous and overwhelming feeling. The NCL and all of the staff on Bliss made it a great adventure. I'll see the Sun in August 2023 for 10 adventure filled days in Alaska.

I bought the airport transfer, the bus pick up was at 10am. I also had bought Priority Access, but was unclear on how to use it. However, my check in time was the 12-12:30 time and I was on board before 12:30.

Very impress with MDR (never had breakfast or lunch at MDR) and buffet, but my favorite meal time spot was The Local (for breakfast and lunch). Le Bistro and the La Cucina were very nice- maybe too nice...felt a little intimidating- in a good way. Staff was great in both restaurants.

Got the spa pass maybe on the 2nd day. Loved the snow room. The Infinity pool (with jets)was a dream. Stayed in it for hours and felt like a newborn calf or a deer on ice coming out of the pool. No kids allowed. Nice locker rooms with showers.Totally worth it. Next cruise, I'll make sure to visit more often. Loved most of the games and trivia activities. Deal or No Deal was the best...watched first game and bought a ticket on 2nd game that was days later. Would've like more contestants (I think they only did 2 rounds)

Nice size, but there was only two of us. Nice bathroom. Once the sofa was pulled out, we need to side step each other to get by
Wildersness Exploration and Crab feast. My favorite excursion.100% recommend it. Loved every minute of it from the narrative bus ride to the Ward to the live tutorial on how to eat the crab legs. The feast was all you can eat crab legs, with a salad appetizer and cheesecake for dessert. Everyone was super nice.
