Review summary

This was my first time on a cruise so in short NCL without a doubt has earned my future business. I am not much on jumping around from companies I deal with so probably will not try another and iam am glad it was NCL. During this cruise a talked to lots of people with amazing cruise stories, but they all ranked this one as top notch!

Embarkation

The process of getting on the boat in San Pedro do to port works moving slow was like the TSA. That aside the trip was phenomenal level of attentionto detail and cleanliness was amazing and not what I expected being a first timer.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was great, but not much different from restaurant to Buffet. The Manhattan gave you the 5 Stat restaurant feel, but the food however good was more of a mass produced feel.

The Local Bar & Grill

3 out of 5

Average, but open all the time for your eating needs before and after drinking, FYI I gave it a 3 because the wings are a 2 star at best.

The Observation Lounge

5 out of 5

Great place to hang out and watch!

The Manhattan Room - Main Dining Room

4 out of 5

the level of service you get here is 5-stars, however the food does not match service in my opinion.

The Bake Shop

5 out of 5

Try the chocolate icecream with cone!

Dolce Gelato

5 out of 5

Amazing is all I can say and a must visit!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Bars at the pool were my favorite.

Fitness Center

5 out of 5

Fitness at see with NCL was game on, you will not skip a leg day!

Bliss Casino

3 out of 5

They need updated machines, I understand that new machines come out pretty regularly but your a big company so step your game up.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I also greatly enjoyed the Mojito bar Sugarcanes daily live performances at night, top notch! Also karaoke at the Cavern every night was great, lots of talented people with great vocal skills. Now, their were also the not talented like myself but for the most part very enjoyable.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My daughter wanted to go back daily between swim times. They pack activities in every visit to keep the kids visiting and making friends that they can swim with!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Rule number one, take care of the staff and they will for sure take care of you! Not much to say after that!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ships cleanliness was amazing, talk about always someone cleaning! I feel as though they could have added more sit down locations in random spots on decks 8, 6 in the interior front and rear.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
They do a great job at cleaning and attention to detail.

Ship tip

Cash tips are worth there weight in gold!

Ports of call

Ensenada, Mexico

4 out of 5
We ditch getting the boat excursion packaged and as we excited the boat caught a ride into downtown for $4. Once we arrived at bus terminal you will be greated by people trying to sell you stuff, walk past and look for local tour guide for $25. This was the best $29 per person you will spend to visit LA Bufadora and have a blast doing it!

Disembarkation

Dock workers for city suck, that's my own opinion based sole on this experience!
