Review summary

A spectacular cruise. Wonderful experience, NCL outdid themselves with the Bliss. From the food quality, to the spectacular service and bartenders, to the room stewards, entertainment, guest services desk, photographers, everyone I encountered was warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. This ship is state of the art and has NCLs A-Team of all stars working on board running things.

Embarkation

Very smooth and fast. Was one of the first people on the ship. NYC port does a great job.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food everywhere was 5 stars. Loved every restaurant including all the specialty restaurants. Cagneys and Teppanyaki were my favorites. Q was great as was Los Lobos. The buffet and their staff were amazing but they close at 330 each day and left me hungry twice which is unacceptable but I can’t hold it against them, they were otherwise completely amazing top to bottom at every restaurant. Elite culinary skills and service. The buffet chefs impressed me. The breakfast was unbelieveably good

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

Six was great, don’t miss comedian Mike Jones he was really funny. The celebrity DJ was great and very cool, and I loved the Reggae band on board familiar strangers. Nightlife was there if you wanted it.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service everywhere was phenomenal. Had the best room steward I’ve ever had as well. Never waited more then 2 mins for a drink. Go cart staff were really cool also.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Super clean and smoothe design. Ship is flawless to me. Escape was my far and away favorite but the Bliss matched it and probably even exceeded it. Ship blew me away. Restrooms so clean I didn’t even hesitate to use them. They are everywhere also. Props to NCL on this ship, it’s basically perfect.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Mini suite, well worth it. Its definitely bigger then a balcony and not just the luxury bathroom. The hallway leading into your room from the cabin door has much more space then a balcony. The sides of the bed and couch have an extra foot or so each then a balcony. It adds up to being well worth it if you ever wondered. Amazing stateroom. Neighbors slammed doors though very loudly. Loved this cabin, it was perfect.

Ship tip

Relax and have fun. Ride the go carts, eat the specialty dining. Participate in shore excursions at each port of call.

Ports of call

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Baths were amazing. Don’t do jvd unless you’ve already seen the baths.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Disembarkation

Walked off the ship, took the stairs with my bags since elevators were chaotic at the time and wished I packed a bit lighter but NCL did an amazing job. I started walking down the stairs and was off the ship and through customs within 20 mins.. pretty flawless execution by NCL and port staff
