Review summary

glad to have experienced our first cruise, the boat was huge, the staff was awesome, but we did get bored because even though there’s something to do all the time half of those things you don’t want to do. Also the weather affected the outdoor activities. Personally think they should have their own dock so we could’ve experience Norwegians Island and also an indoor swimming pool would’ve helped

Embarkation

Very organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
We didn’t go to specialty restaurants. The buffet had a wide variety of foods and the meals we got in the main dining room were small portions and not very good

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
We enjoyed playing the game shows, trivia, bingo, the comedians, and the Jersey boys. The pool was very clean but not nearly big enough for everyone and unfortunately the weather wasn’t great and they closed the pool for a couple of days. I’ve been told there’s a pool inside the spa but that you had to pay to use it.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We did enjoy the shows and the DJ was very good

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was awesome. Everyone was polite and the service was great.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship seemed to be clean .

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
I’ve never been on a cruise before and didn’t know what to expect. The rooms are small but the bed was comfortable enough And the closet was decent. There was two of us in our room. I don’t think I would recommend an inside room for more than two people

Ship tip

Try and go when it’s warmer weather because we were not able to utilize some of the outdoor activities such as the go carts in the swimming pool as much as we would’ve liked

Ports of call

New York, New York

3 out of 5
We just drove here to catch the ship. We did not go on an excursion afterward. Not that much to look at but plenty of room to park

Port Canaveral, Florida

1 out of 5
There is absolutely nothing at this port and you would have to take a taxi or Uber to get to anything and it would cost you about 50 bucks. The second day rained so we didn’t even get off the ship. The ship doesn’t plan as many events because they figure everybody is going somewhere and this was one of the most boring days

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
When we arrived at Nassau so did all the other cruise ships there was thousands of people trying to get on their excursions it was chaos. We did take a bus tour around the city the driver was awesome we saw plenty of sites and learned about Nassau

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

1 out of 5
So so so disappointed that we did not get to go on the island. Norwegian does not have a dock on the island so we have to anchor in the water and take little boats over to the island but the waves were too high and we couldn’t go.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
InitiallyThings were going well but then they just decided to let everybody off at one time and they were disembarking from the gangway in front of the line of people already waiting. A lot of angry people because of that

Thanks for sharing your cruise.

There is so much to do at port Canaveral but you do need to leave the port. Cocoa beach minutes away. Kennedy space center just minutes away. Disney world and universal studios about 1 hour. I can't imagine being bored with so many options.
