Review summary

Overall a nice ship but not perfect! We did the Alaskan itinerary so couldn't use the pools or outside decks as often! Some entertainment was better than others. Not much to do during middle of the day! Had to pay extra for onboard activities. Food was hit or miss throughout the cruise! We had a nice vacation but could have been better!

@Courtney, I’ve been researching Alaskan cruises. You might want to consider Royal’s Ovation of the Seas. It looks sooo nice. It has an enclosed area to enjoy when it’s too cold outside and heated pool! There’s a lot of videos on YouTube. Carnival’s ship is older and smaller.

You were displeased that the weather in Alaska wasn't conducive to swimming outside? Wow. Was there nothing in the daily newsletter list of activities for you? We're going in September and won't leave the ship much so I hope to find some decent lectures and demos.
