This was our first TA. We have decided it is not really for us. Although we like sea days 10 was a little too much for us. Perhaps if the weather had been different we could have use the outdoor spaces more.

Main dinning rooms were great never had to wait at all. Went to 5 specialty restaurants. Le Bistro was the best. We felt very rushed at Cagneys. Although Ocean Blue was Good, we didn't think it was worth the up charge. Q which is the new smokehouse was Good, but not really a smoke house. The service in all was excellent.
Onboard Activities

Go carts were a lot of fun, my husband could not go because they did not have a helmet big enough. The weather did not co-operate so I did my try the awesome water slides. Or the laser tag.

Loved the new Observation lounge. You could have a light breakfast or lunch there. The furniture was extremely comfortable. But even as large as it is you need to come early to get a seat. And yes even with the crew asking people not to "hog" save or sleep there it continued to happen. This trip was only half full so I cannot imagine how hard it will be to get a place on a full ship.

Ship tip
If you are a smoker be prepared to have very very limited options. Spice has a small outdoor area, when we got onboard it consisted of sitting for 6 by day 3 there was seating for 20. The cigar room holds about 18 people. The ventilation was not working, so it was like a "Smoker " the crew let us at least leave the door open for ventilation. The 3rd area is the glasses in part of the casino which was awesome. Ventilation was fantastic, only down fall was they would not let you smoke if you weren't playing. Could get a little costly to have a smoke.
We booked at the holiday inn for the night before, it was fantastic. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Had a fantastic time. Embankment was very smooth and fast.
Had nothing to do with the port. The weather was horrible was never so wet and cold. Went to Peggys Cove and although it was beautiful would really need to go back to actually give an opinion
