Review summary

There was no spot to rate the ports. Glacier bay was incredible and the fishing in Ketchikan was awesome but we had to book our own fishing trip as the one the ship offered was completely booked.

Food and Dining

All the special restaurants were booked very early and the menu in the main dining room and lido market repeated at least once. The Lido market made subtle changes. I did pay for the soft drink package and I had to wait every time I wanted a soda because the wait staff had to order it from a bar. They should have a soda tap available for the waiters to use in the dining rooms. The time wasted for what I know costs the ship pennies was ridiculous.

Onboard Activities

The main thing onboard that we enjoyed was the mineral spa. We used it every day!

Entertainment

Adequate at best. The dance group was not for us and my wife used to dance. Cruise director was probably the worst I have ever had.

Children's Programs

We did not have or even see many kids on this trip. Older demo!

Service and Staff

The staff, especially our room stewards were amazing. All were friendly and approachable. The waiters need access to soft drinks without having to go to a bar.

Ship Quality

We were near the front of the ship so when we wanted food or a drink we had a bit of a walk. The ship was very clean!

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5

We had them add a foam topper to the mattress which made the bed comfortable. The verandah was a must since we spent a decent amount of time in our room.

Disembarkation

We carried our own bags off the ship and we were done in a few minutes. I do not know how others made out that had the bags taken off by the crew.
