Review summary

Absolutely love this ship, beautifully decorated! Very nice crew, needs a 21 and older sun deck way to many kids in pool area. I’m not stating no kids but it would be nice to have a space w/out kids 🤷‍♀️my opinion please don’t judge.

The sea view pool on NA is supposed to be adults only, but a few kids did sneak in. The lido pool had more kids so didn’t sit there much. Was on NA a couple of weeks ago.

I'm really surprised there were so many kids, unless it was a school vacation time. Nieuw Amsterdam is usually for an older crowd. We loved it when we went last March, which was school vacation and there was a mixture of ages but still not that much any kids. Hope you enjoyed the food as much as we did.

Don't feel bad for wanting an adults only retreat to relax. Many people with hearing, mobility, nervous conditions need a safe place to relax. What a shame your ship did not supply it for you.. Princess ships all have an AO zone.
