Generally the food was fine, but unspectatcular. I have sailed on Royal Caribbean and Carnival in the past. The food and service was on par with these other lines. The Pinnacle Grill was VERY good and the service excellent.

Entertainment

Slightly sub par. I prefer the entertainment on RC. The music etc (PA announcements) . was excessively load at the aft pool area (adult pool). And this from a rock 'n' roll fan!

Nothing special. We had 2 rooms on deck 4 on the fan tail (stern). The balcony view was nice facing aft.

Pros: Any time dinner seating. Pinnacle Grill.

Cons: Ship was fairly basic; I expected more fron a relatively new ship. There were limited excursions for most ports

Recommends Nieuw Amsterdam? No.
